About Us
The First United Methodist Church of Avalon has been on the Seven Mile Island for 129 years. We are a full time, year 'round faith community. We serve the residents of Avalon and the surrounding area, and are proud to be a church away from home for those who vacation in the area. Our hope is that you will be part of our faith community and join us in our celebration of worship and music, our passion for study, our involvement in mission and ministry, our delight in fellowship and our love for ALL.
Our PURPOSE is to be a church that proclaims the Good News of the Love of God, the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Power of the Holy Spirit.
